Digimon City is a Mixed Media Roleplay group, that is flexible on how people interact with the setting. If you just want to RP, that’s fine! Just want to draw snippets of your characters’ daily lives? That’s fine too!

You earn credits by submitting RP logs, stories, art, animations or even game-like content to show interactions with the city and characters. Credits can be used for unlocking Digivolutions, new characters, making bigger changes etc.

Setting
Digimon City takes place in Dome City, on an island that got cut off from the rest of the world and seems to be stuck in the 90s.
​
Digimon and humans here live side-by-side, with Digimon pursuing education and holding jobs, much like humans. Some Digimon and humans have paired up as partners via a tamagotchi-like device known as a D-Vice, while others remain unparntered.

How the group works
We aim to give people room to experiment with their characters, stories, homes/neighborhoods/occupations and various ways to interact. The content should following some key principles of the world of Digimon City.

Discord
​
In order to send in group applications, get notifications and officially participate you will need to be on our Discord server. We also have communities on Toyhouse and DeviantArt to join optionally!

Events/Story/Open world
While mods might provide events and story when they’re available, members are also free to create their own events and prompts. Story progression of exploring the island and potentially restoring contact with the outside world is currently on hold, but is otherwise expected to be slow and spanned out over the years if/when there are mods available to focus on this part.

The group is 18+ mainly as a safety measure and to ensure mods won’t need to “parent” younger members. NSFW works with more suggestive or gory themes may be shared under appropriate channels on Discord that members choose if they want access to or not. Most channels should be safe for those who wish avoid such content.
